A walk about town. The area we walked around is made up of historical buildings and was restored for the Worlds Fair in 1968. It will be restored again in 2015 after much neglect. The building I'm standing by was originally a German-English school for children of German settlers. The buildings were erected and expanded during the period of 1858-1873. The buildings served as a college during the Great Depression 1925-1951. The statue that Al is standing by is of Madera who was an apostle of democracy in Mexico. He was exiled to the US in 1910 but elected President of Mexico in 1911. He died suddenly in 1013. George W. Bush signed the NAFTA Treaty on this sight.
