Today while Al was in class I visited the concierge and discovered that there was shopping within waking distance.... There is no was in driving here is I don't have to....bumper to bumper everywhere. So I walled a few blocks, followed some other peeps through the intersection and found Dillards... glanced at a cute purse. ..$200...wandered through and out the door. Tried to get back through that intersection... Never pushed the buttons on a stop light before but did it and then got caught in the center of the highway on the median because I didn't walk fast enough. .. No wonder puerile were running!!! Finally got across but did so while the red hand was still up! Then I saw the Container Store the concierge was talking about... turns out is a store full of every single kind of container or storage unit that your mind can think up.... Didn't buy anything. Saw Starbucks and went there for a "Rustic Turkey Panini" and an iced mocha. Sat outside in the sun and ate...yummy! Found a toy store....Jessica is lucky I'm flying or I could have gone crazy... suppose I could have shipped it gone ;) DSW was right next door but didn't find anything there either. Cashton is the only one who got s something today.
