A Nature Walk, A Nap and a Sunset Campfire

A great day! We went for a nature hike and walk around the entire park,  took a nap and watched the sun set by a camp fire.  Tomorrow we travel to Fort Worth and visit Al's niece, Renee and her family. 

A nice gravel trail with sign posts along the way. 

Marleys back pack worked good! He got to walk with his boots on most of the time but I didn't want pine sap in his hair while walking in the woods.

Clear Springs

According to signs,  this is an egret. He was fishing! They are slightly shorter and more slender than Sandhill cranes at about 3-4 feet tall. Their beak is a little different than a Crane too. A visit from an egret can mean new beginnings and positive changes for the better.  

Al saw a flock of geese flying over.
