This was my first hike for 2024! We started out on Dutchman's Trail to Peters Pass and then to Parker's Pass, about a 7 mile hike.

It's amazing how much the geology in this area changes just within a few miles!

This agave plant is huge, I can't imagine how old it is!
You can see Weavers Needle in the background right above me. Landmarks are pretty critical for orientation because some of the hiking trails are barely discernable to just bushwhacking through the desert!
Tom showed us this small cave. From left to right is Linda Braun, Cindy and Wayne from Ontario, Jeanne from Illinois, Walter and me.
Cindy and Wayne didn't trek the whole way back on Parker's Pass and I don't blame them, this section was a tough hike!
