2024.01.29 DESERT ARROYO PARK--PICKLEBALL and GOOGLY EYE FUN!!

This 58-acre Desert Arroyo Park takes full advantage of the area’s natural desert landscape. There is a looped trail system and an outdoor desert classroom for environmental education. This desert park is home to a variety of Sonoran Desert plants and animals. The Desert Arroyo Park is a small, paved path park near a school. A nice little walk. Marley got to walk a little bit but we have to be very watchful of cactus pickers.

Oh yes we did!!! We started Pickleball Lessons! Tuesday and Thursdays are lessons and games on any other day we have time or desire. Lots' of blue because lessons are on Tuesdays and we are wearing blue on Tuesdays to support True Blue Tuesdays in Support and Honor of Law Enforcement! Our friends Deb and Joel from Wisconsin who we met in Tortilla Flat, AZ, started the movement.

Yup, I bought a pack of googly eyes. 👀This is what retired people are supposed to do, right?

Found these octopus legs in Costco. We thought Jessica would like a pack to try!
LOL..we were wrong.

Ice cream for supper...because we can 😀

Sunset out our camper window. Never gets old.
