What's a Huli Huli?

This is "Cousin Dave," our tour guide for the day. He was full of humor, history, and good information. Did you know that in Hawaii it is rude to use the horn on your car?

On the tour we stopped at the Coral Kingdom for lunch. Patti and I had the Huli Huli Chicken and Al had Curry Chicken. Everything comes with rice and macaroni salad.

We learned that the brown coconuts at the Macadamia Nut Farm. we get in our grocery stores is not fresh at all but is very old. A fresh coconut is green. They soak them in cold water, chop off the top and drink the almost clear liquid inside and the coconut is actually soft and easy to pull out. Who would have guessed?

We went back to the Dole Plantation and found out we had missed a whole section! So we did some goofing around...
