2.23.24 Siphon Draw via Jacob's Crosscut

 Siphon Draw (below Flat Iron)

Today's hike was 6-1/2 miles with 8 hikers but only 7 made the whole trek, very difficult hike for the second half of the trail.

Gorgeous sunrise this morning!

The trail got much steeper and more difficult when we got to the Siphon Draw trailhead.

You can see Siphon Draw just below the Flat Iron way up top.  We didn't try to make it to the Flat Iron because the trail becomes nearly vertical past Siphon Draw.

Parts of the trail is on ridges that are pretty steep with sharp drop offs.

Interesting rock formations!

Lunch Spot!
Tough hiking but it's absolutely beautiful up here!

When there's more rain there's a decent waterfall here.

We found this on the trail back, we'll start seeing blossoms soon!
