24.04.09 Bulldog Saddle & Pass Mountain Loop

Bulldog Saddle & Pass Mountain Loop

Linda & I had been to Bulldog Saddle but never did the loop before, it was a nice 5.5 mile hike with some pretty decent vertical difference.

We are at the top of Bulldog Saddle.

We found a spur trail that we explored and found this small cave.

Then we did some trail blazing to another saddle overlook, it was pretty cool!

We found some floral colors other than yellow and orange.

We saw a bunch of these little guys around but this one decided to stay still long enough for me to take his picture.

Almost back to the truck!

More cactus blooms!

This is the first cholla that we found with blooms, I'm excited for more!

This was on the spur trail, it was pretty steep and a little hairy at times!

I found a beehive at the top of the cave, it's a good sign for the cactus bloom!

Some of the saguaros out here are huge!
